Terms of Service
Last updated: October 16, 2026
These terms apply when you use PlanPilot (“PlanPilot”, “we”, “us”), including the website, the planning wizard, Quick UML, the API, the MCP server and the browser extension (together, the “Service”). PlanPilot is operated by Unzila Shamim, an individual based in Pakistan. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
1. The Service
PlanPilot uses AI to turn your answers and descriptions into planning material for software projects — diagrams, wireframes, checklists, prompts, tech-stack suggestions, requirements and images. Features and plan limits may change as we improve the Service.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old to use PlanPilot.
- Keep your sign-in and any API keys secure. You're responsible for activity under your account.
- Give accurate information, and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.
3. Your content and ownership
You own what you put into PlanPilot and, to the extent the law allows, the results generated for you. You give us permission to store, process and send your content to our service providers (including AI providers) only as needed to run the Service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. You're responsible for having the rights to anything you submit.
4. AI-generated results
Results are generated by AI and can be incomplete, inaccurate or unsuitable for your situation. They are a starting point, not professional advice. Review everything — especially security, legal, compliance and payment-related suggestions — before relying on it or building with it. Similar inputs may produce similar results for other users, so generated content may not be unique to you.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for anything illegal, harmful, fraudulent or infringing on others' rights;
- plan or build software whose purpose is to cause harm — including malware or hacking tools, phishing, scams or fraud, stalking or covert surveillance of other people, weapons or violence, the sale of illegal drugs or goods, harassment or hate campaigns, or anything that exploits or endangers children;
- attempt to break, overload, or get around the Service's security, rate limits or plan limits;
- create multiple accounts or share API keys to avoid limits or payment;
- scrape, resell or redistribute the Service itself without our written permission;
- reverse engineer the Service, except where the law allows it.
To keep PlanPilot safe, what you ask us to plan is automatically screened for harmful uses, and flagged requests may be reviewed by us. We may suspend or limit accounts that break these rules, and we may report serious illegal activity to the relevant authorities. If you think your account was suspended by mistake, email support@planpilot.dev and we'll review it.
6. Plans, billing and cancellation
- The Free plan is free and includes usage limits. Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (for example monthly) until you cancel.
- Payments are processed by our payment provider, which acts as the seller of record and may handle taxes such as VAT or sales tax.
- You can cancel anytime. You keep paid features until the end of the period you've already paid for, and you won't be charged again after that.
- Refunds follow our Refund Policy: your first payment can be refunded in full within 7 days, even if you've used the plan; renewals are not refundable. For billing problems, email support@planpilot.dev.
- We may change prices for future billing periods. We'll tell you before a change affects your subscription.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep PlanPilot running smoothly, but we don't guarantee it will always be available or error-free. We may change, pause or discontinue features. If we shut down the Service entirely while you have a paid subscription, we'll refund the unused part of your current billing period.
8. Ending your use
You can stop using PlanPilot at any time and ask us to delete your account (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms or put the Service or other users at risk.
9. Disclaimer
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law — including any warranty that results will be accurate, complete or fit for a particular purpose.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PlanPilot is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data or business, arising from your use of the Service or its results. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or USD 50 if you're on the Free plan). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If changes are significant, we'll update the date above and notify you by email or in the app. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, except where the consumer-protection laws of your country give you rights that can't be waived.
